To practice corporate social responsibility and promote progress in economic, environmental, and social aspects, aiming for sustainable development, the company revised its "Sustainability Practice Code" in March 2022, which was approved by the board. The General Manager's office is responsible for proposing and implementing sustainability policies, systems, management guidelines, and specific action plans. An annual report is made to the board, with the most recent report given on December 19, 2023. The board and senior management are responsible for overseeing the units that drive corporate sustainability and monitoring the development of relevant sustainability guidelines both domestically and internationally. Additionally, the company updates equipment, replaces LED lighting, conserves water, and implements energy-saving measures such as switching off lights and controlling air conditioning temperatures to address climate change issues. The company will continue to assess the potential risks and opportunities brought about by climate change to ensure stable operations and maintain competitiveness.

Due to the nature of the industry, the production process only requires minimal water usage for cooling wires, and the company has installed a water recycling system for water reuse. Additionally, there are no gas emissions during the wire production process. The PVC plastic pellet plant is equipped with VOCs treatment facilities, where waste gases are collected and treated to meet emission standards before being released, with emissions reduced by up to 65%. The company is committed to minimizing the environmental impact of operations. Furthermore, the company implements energy-saving and carbon-reduction measures, including energy management plans for offices, factories, and public areas, comprehensive use of energy-efficient lighting, and advocacy for energy-saving among employees, promoting water conservation, switching off lights, controlling air conditioning temperatures, reducing elevator use, recycling office paper, and reusing copper and other materials to reduce the environmental impact of operations.

Water Consumption:
As all of the Company’s sites in Taiwan are office-based, water usage primarily results from employees’ daily activities and has therefore not been classified as a material topic. The calculation method is based on the monthly water consumption recorded on utility bills, combined with the water usage data of the building or park where the office is located, allocated proportionally according to floor area.

Social Engagement

In recent years, the company has participated in various community and charity activities, including:
